Love challenge {guest post}

Hello Friends!
Can you believe that it is already the first day of February? I don’t know about you but in my life even having the best intentions doesn’t mean that I actually accomplish all that I would like to (or want to) – This is especially true for my personal relationships. It seems like it gets easier and easier these days to let the business of life trump the time, thought, and intentionality that we should be putting into our relationships!

BUT I guess, before I go much further I should remeber my manners and introduce myself!
Hi, I’m Sarah!

I blog over at Life on Walnut Street.  I was blessed to meet Miss Amanda a little over a year ago through a Christian ladies group that we are both apart of and we have become pretty fast-friends! We are both really pumped to partner up for the challenge that I am going to share with you today!

So…here is the deal!
Using the printables that you will find in this post, beginning today, the challenge is to write a “love note” every day for the next 30 days! If you and your spouse both commit to do this then you will need to print out 6 copies of the “love note” printable!

Between you and your love you can decide how you want to give them to each other. We like the idea of each having a jar or a basket that the other can just drop the notes in for their partner to find through-out the day/month. By the end of the challenge you will each have 30 mini “loves notes” from your sweetie!

Okay…here is a tip! Don’t over think this! These don’t have to be super-profound or even all that romantic! This challenge is intended to get you thinking/remembering all the little things that you love about each other! (ie: “I love to watch you laugh at movies” or “I love it when you play with the kids”… how about “I love when you hold my hand when we drive in the car”) You get the idea, right?!

This challenge is geared primarily to husbands and wives but we also think that it would be a great activity for siblings to do with each other (and fun to see what they come up with) or even think about doing it as a family activity where each person in the family writes a love note about ”What I love about my family”. The possibilities are endless. The goal is to just be intentional about doing it each and every day for the next 30 days!

Here are some graphics that you are also welcome to use and share on your own blog/facebook page/pinterest boards if you intend to take the challenge and want to encourage others to do as well!

Think about what the next 30 days could do for your relationships if you were committed and intentional  about telling the people you love that you love them…and why!

We are planning to have a round-up of sorts at the beginning of next month for anyone who participated in the challenge and who would want to write a post and share about their experience! (So keep your eyes open for that…)

Thanks for allowing me to come over and share with you all today and I hope that you will consider taking the challenge with us! (And share it with your freinds and followers as well!)

Happy February!
