New year, new changes

So many of you know that I babysit. I’ve done it since my miss 7 was a baby. Taking a break, but always coming back. So many changes have happened in 2012 for our family. Hubby got a new job, and has some amazing opportunities, miss 7 in school full day and getting into extra stuff. Then there is my business. SO.MUCH.GOING.ON.

I love the kiddos that I got to watch and am sad that they won’t be here. But I’m also excited for change. To enjoy my duties as a wife, a mother, a business owner, and even a friend. A lot of the time by the end of the day, I’m just done. Nothing to give to others. Slacked in my study, my family and friends, and my business. I’m learning to say no. It’s hard. I want to help out, but needing to find that balance.

So bring on 2013! Hubby and I always sit down and talk of our goals, vacation plans, and dreams for the new year.

Some of my goals is:

Consistent quiet time

Showing and teaching about Jesus more to my kiddos.

getting into a bible study (so excited to be able to take this on again)

getting into shape and eating healthy (I’ve pretty much been on a sweets, wings, and chips and salsa diet for the last 6 months)

Getting back into a routine.

Looking for ways to grow my business.

What goals do you have?

  1. Getting my camera out more, baking a pie from scratch, and slowing down a little!

    • I am looking forward to slowing down a bit, and just being in the moment. I love making pies from scratch. Though it only happens once or twice a year. THe crust can be tricky at times.
